Modalities only make money in these circumstances

Dear friend,
If there is one thing I want every spiritual practitioner to know, it’s that modalities do not make money.
I see way too many offers that are entirely focused on a modality whether that is human design, breathwork, Tarot. These offers rarely sell well, and if they do - they sell a trickle when what you really want is a flood.
Instead of being focused on a modality, your offer needs to be centred on a client’s problem or an outcome that they want to achieve. And in 2026 the outcomes people want have changed.
Why?
Because while people are still spending - they are redirecting their spending to areas that are of a critical nature or are of high importance to them.
That doesn’t mean that you abandon your modality - it just means that you need to position it as a solution to a much larger and more critical outcome.
I call these life and death problems or life changing outcomes.
You might be thinking that changing the positioning of your offer to focus on these means you are selling out in some way. This is the biggest objection I hear from practitioners to niching in general. In fact someone on Threads articulated this perfectly - she felt that niching would be hindering her “soul growth”.
But the truth is - these are the problems that CAUSE the most soul growth for your clients.
Things such as getting married or getting divorced, moving countries, scaling a business.
There are so many outcomes and problems that matter most to people - if you look at your own life honestly, you will see this.
These issues are the most relevant ones, the ones that act as the biggest catalyst for changing collective consciousness. If you want to make an impact through your spiritual business, this is exactly where you want to be.
If you are looking at someone selling a modality well, the chances are that they have positioned it correctly to lead to a life changing outcome.
